Materials Handler
PrideStaff, Central Oregon's top rated staffing and recruiting firm, is currently seeking a Material Handler for a great opportunity with one of Central Oregon's biotech companies.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of working experience in fast paced production environment.

Responsibilities of the Materials Handler :
- Performing a variety of operations
- Receiving : Unloading incoming materials, verifying their quality and quantity, and documenting receipts
- Properly storing materials in designated locations, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible
- Inventory Management : Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting audits, reporting discrepancies
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials within the facility
- Preparing materials for shipment, including labeling, packing, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations
- Inspecting materials for damage or defects and taking appropriate actions. Experience and Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and pack orders
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Overall, the materials handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials through the facility, contributing to the success of manufacturing and distribution operations.
